Tom Krohmer, also known on the internet as "The Toxic Reverend," has been a technician in Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning, Refrigeration, Automated Building Systems, Programmable Logic Controls, Energy Management and "Sick Building" Research. An avid blogger on environmental issues and radio personality with a considerable following on social media, Krohmer uses his life experience with toxins to give back to the community.
Krohmer started losing his vision as a result of toxic chemical exposures in 1997 and was declared legally blind in 2010. His experience with toxicity resulted in Macular Degeneration and Arthritis. Krohmer was also diagnosed with Hepatitis C which he has beat through direct acting anti-viral medications. His struggles led him to a life long study of toxic chemical exposure in our environment and its human cost.
"I have joined the International Association of Hepatitis Task Forces board because I want to help people recover from their chronic conditions and give back to the community" says Krohmer.
